One of the country’s grandest beauty pageants returns this year. It’s a bigger and more exciting Miss Resorts World Manila.
Get on those high heels! We are calling all beautiful single women, 18 to 27 years old, a Filipino citizen, and at least 5’6’ in height to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity of being Miss Resorts World Manila 2011. Pre-screening is on July 23 at Star Cruises Center- Resorts World Manila while Final Screening is on August 6 at Marriott Hotel Manila. Aspiring beauty queens should bring a full body and one close-up photo, a valid ID as proof of age, dark-colored swimsuit and a cocktail dress.
Auditionees and their fans may also visit Resorts World Manila’s Facebook account: www.facebook.com/rwmanila for the “Ms. RWM 2011: Choose Your Finalist” contest. Videos of some auditionees will be uploaded for the public to vote starting July 25 to August 5, 2011. Stunning aspirants and crowd favorites from the online auditions will also be invited for the Final Screening on August 6.
A ravishing pool of 30 ladies will be formed for the formal competition. Hair and makeup trainings, styling trainings, personality development trainings, a string of media presentations, public relations training, Maxims Butler Challenge, swimsuit and talent competitions, and a photo shoot at Star Cruises Singapore awaits the 30 official candidates.
From 30 candidates, one will be called the People’s Choice through online voting at Facebook from August 15 to August 26. After all these fanfare, only one lady will wear the prestigious Miss Resorts World Manila 2011 crown through a grand coronation night at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on August 27. The esteemed beauty feature at Mega Magazine awaits the new queen. On top of that, more than P1 million worth of prizes will also be given away.
