One day to go to Pops Fernandez in Fashion; Concert Series Players Pass launched
JUNE 13, 2011. With just one day to go, every cut and drape of the glamorous wardrobes have been put in place, the neon lights have been set, Asia's largest LED screen good to go, and a repertoire fitting only to a concert queen has been perfected. Pops Fernandez in Fashion is set to take the Newport Performing Arts Theater by storm tomorrow, June 14.
With the same level of fanfare, Resorts World Manila (RWM) has also launched the Concert Series Players Pass promo. RWM members just need to earn 250 gaming points from the slots and the table games to avail of one Resorts World Manila Concert Series show ticket. With this offer, Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) and the rest of the Resorts World Manila is living up to its reputation as Manila’s most exciting leisure hotspot.
Pops will be bringing to life creations of Maxie Cinco, Cary Santiago, and Francis Libiran, among others, merging each ensemble with her electrifying stage presence and distinct musical style. “I have a huge stage. I’m ready to use it”, Pops said during the press conference held at Passion Restaurant in Maxims Tower last month.
Aside from the luxurious outfits, Pops is also excited to perform at NPAT, arguably the country’s most state-of-the-art entertainment facility to date. “Before, everything (the set pieces) has to be prepared manually. Now, everything is there. I am just so excited about what I can do with it (the stage)”, she said. “I am dreaming of a Vegas-scale concert like Celine Dion’s. I would like to go back here and do that”, she added.
The Concert Queen also confessed that this will be her first time to hold a full-length concert with a big band, complete with a brass section. She will be performing mostly upbeat tunes and a lot of medleys.
Pops Fernandez in Fashion is the fifth installment of the Resorts World Manila Concert Series.
Meanwhile, the Concert Series Players Pass promo was officially launched last Friday, June 10, 2011. Members can now start earning points and use these to avail of tickets to Resorts World Manila Concert Series shows they want to watch, starting with Pops Fernandez in Fashion. They can also start racking up points for the Ryan Cayabyab and Friends concert on June 28. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis and depending on availability, you just might get a VIP seat!
