Wendy Tabusalla wins Miss Resorts World Manila 2010 Crown!

Mass Communications student and model Wendy Tabusalla was crowned Miss Resorts World Manila 2010 at the enchanting grand coronation night last November 11, 2010 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

With her uniquely Filipina beauty and grace, poise in the Long Gown Competition and her confident answers, Wendy stood out from the 29 lovely women who vied for the honor of being the first-ever Miss Resorts World Manila.

Wendy will be the spokesperson of the country’s premier integrated leisure destination. She also won a Php500,000 cash prize and a free, one-year lease on a condominium unit.
UP Diliman Cum Laude and aspiring film maker Maxine Mamba and 21 year-old Filipino-Aussie Anthea Murfet were proclaimed as the first and second runners up, respectively. Maxine brought home a Php100,000 cash prize, a Star Cruises package worth Php50,000, and an employment contract with RWM. Anthea, who on the other hand, topped the Best in Swimsuit competition, won Php50,000, and an employment contract with RWM.

Hosted by Sarah Meier-Albano, Karen Pamintuan and Borgy Manotoc, the coronation night exuded class and elegance. Swimsuit designer Charina Sarte, host Joey Mead, and the models of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), took the glamour of the evening to the next level.
Guests were treated to a glimpse of KAOS, Resort World Manila’s highly anticipated spectacle that will be opening on December 1. Lead stars Gian Magdangal and Martha Joy performed original songs from the production, while a master illusionist awed the crowd with a sneak peak of the magic that they could look forward to in the show.

Watch out for our Miss Resorts World Manila Wendy Tabusalla at the Grand Fiesta Manila 2010 parade on November 27, to be held around the Newport Complex. The Grand Parade is one of the Grand Fiesta Manila 2010 activities from November 25 to 28.
