Turn back the clock and groove to the hits of the seventies! Catch the Manila Sound Project at the massive Newport Performing Arts Theater on September 25, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Light, upbeat and very catchy, Manila Sound was the defining musical genre of that tumultuous decade. With hits like "Manila," "Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko," and "Beh Buti Nga," Hotdog was the original purveyor of the Manila Sound. Hagibis, the country's answer to The Village People, added fun and humor to the music scene with their chart-topping "Katawan." Meanwhile, VST and Co. paved the way for a Swing explosion with songs like "Awitin Mo, Isasayaw Ko," "Rock Baby Rock," and "Magsayawan."

Put your disco shoes on and dance to the music of Hagibis, Hotdog and VST & Co. to the Manila Sound Project, an event that brings together some of the era's most unforgettable tunes. Also performing is local rock icon Sampaguita, who guarantees to bring down the house with her signature hits.

The state-of-the-art, 1,500-seat Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila is the city's newest and biggest venue for must-see musical performances and other events.
