Cirque Mother Africa comes to Manila
Aside from stories of the Earth's earliest civilization, boasting picturesque deserts, and hosting the world's richest wildlife, what else do we know about Africa? Forget about reaching for the nearest Encyclopedia or searching for facts over the internet. Resorts World Manila (RWM) will bring you a whole continent through colorful costumes, stunning choreographies, breathtaking stunts, lively beats and happy songs in four summer nights of Cirque Mother Africa.
Watching a live presentation is the best way for us to know more about the vibrant colors that occupies the world’s second largest continent and it will be one stunning cultural learning extravaganza at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on April 19, 20, 21 and 22.

Be dazzled by 40 amazing performers from eight African countries. These singers, dancers, magicians and contortionists from Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast (Republic of Cote d’Ivoire), Benin, Zimbabwe and Guinea have travelled around the world and presented sold out shows in Germany, Italy, Romania, The Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Spain, and Singapore. As a testament of being truly world-class, Resorts World Manila with Establish Events and Media Central brings Cirque Mother Africa to the Philippines.
It will be a top notch circus. Don’t expect a ringmaster with top black hat performing handkerchief or coin tricks. Cirque Mother Africa will impress you with its mind-boggling illusions so cleverly joined by the authentic African music. These artists will show daring stunts not just to wow the audience but they will also use risky acrobatic sequences for a colorful storytelling of things we might have not known about Africa: their way of life, how they search for love and their dramatic stories of survival.

Be entertained and give back. Parts of the proceeds of the ongoing Cirque Mother Africa world tour will go to several development projects in the continent including the Karl-Heinz Bohm’s Ethiopian aid project named “People for People” which has been undergoing community outreach projects in Ethiopia for over 30 years.
Cirque Mother Africa will be presented in five shows on April 19, 20 and 22 (Thursday, Friday, and Sunday) at 8:00 pm and on April 21 (Saturday) at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Tickets are available at Resorts World Manila Box Office and all TicketWorld outlets and ranges from P1,500 to P6,095. RWM Family Fun, Classic, and Silver cardholders will be given a 10% discount while Gold, Platinum and Genting Club members will get 15% discount when they present their membership cards during ticket purchase, may it be through cash or credit card. RWM members can also use their Genting Points (GPs) to purchase show tickets following 1GP= P1 conversion rate.
So, how well do we know Africa? See you at the Newport Performing Arts Theater and together let’s discover the land’s hidden beauty in what could be the greatest spectacle of African life.
