Four concerts headline Valentine’s at RWM

Here are the nights when not only do we have someone to LOVE but we also have something to LAUGH over.

Resorts World Manila presents four Valentine shows that will provide not only romantic music but also a healthy dose of laughter. Performing at the country’s grandest stage are top-notch concert artists Rachelle Ann Go, Basil Valdez, Christian Bautista and Karylle, with ace singing comedians Nanette Inventor, Rico J. Puno, and Jon Santos.

Teaming up for the first time, Basil Valdez and Rachelle Anne Go open the Valentine concert season at the Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT). The concert promises to showcase the greatest renditions of all-time favorite love songs, as sung by one of the country's premier balladeers, a young diva, and the renowned musical group, The CompanY. Seasons of Love will be held a day before Valentine’s, February 13, at 8:00 in the evening.

Laughter will commence as Rico J. Puno fuses romance and comedy on Valentine’s night. The original Mr. Suave, Rico J will be performing a repertoire of OPM and English love standards. He will be joined by Jennylyn Mercado, Katya Santos and “The Vamp” herself, Vernie Varga. The Best of Rico J Puno: A Valentine Concert is on February 14, 8:00 pm.

Jon Santos and his popular impersonations of the Philippines’ notable personalities -
Tita Gloring, Krissy, Sherap Estrada, Ate Vi, Shamcee, and Charice Penpendesarapen-pengco - will bring humor to NPAT in LOVE in 3D on February 15 at 8:00 pm.

Meanwhile, on February 29, Resorts World Manila’s Concert Series resumes with TV's favorite musical tandem, Christian Bautista and Karylle, as they headline Love and Laughter. Exhibiting chemistry in musicals such as “The West Side Story” and “The Kitchen Musical,” Christian and Karylle will perform our favorite contemporary and current love songs.

Singer, actress, and comedienne Nanette Inventor joins in on the fun and romance. “Leap year only happens once in every four years. So the concept of this concert is also a rarity,” Nanette shares during their press conference. Also performing at the show are Opera Belles and Primo. Love and Laughter will be on February 29, at 8:00 pm also at NPAT.
