Resorts World Manila Visits Community Impact Sites

Resorts World Manila recently launched its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in partnership with international organization, Up With People (UWP). RWM sponsored the month-long stay of the group starting March 18 to April 19. This year found 85 young delegates of UWP in the Philippines to expand global awareness through travel and cultural immersion. The partnership is the first of many CSR programs under RWM’s dictum WE-SEE which stands for the following platforms: Wellness, Security, Environment and Education.

To further cement its commitment to the community, RWM visited the CI groups to gain a better understanding of its beneficiaries.

“It is vital for us to visit the CI groups than to just see it from a distance. We believe that by getting a first-hand look at our beneficiaries, we will be able to provide better services and assistance in future ventures,” says Kingson Sian, President of International Hotel Group, Inc. (TIHGI) “the visit to the CI sites has been a wake-up call, and an eye-opener to the many opportunities that we can offer the community,” he continues.
